P C Pandey is Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, University of Roorkee. A graduate from the Banaras Hindu University, he got his postgraduate diploma form King's College at New Castle upon Tyne and his Ph D from the University of Nottingham (UK).
H S Shan is Reader in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Roorkee. He received his ME and PhD degree from the University of Roorkee.
