Prakash G Apte, former director of IIM Bangalore and professor of international finance, has rich experience in teaching, executive education and consulting in addition to a stint in the industry. His areas of research interest are macroeconomics, international finance, exchange rate behaviour, interlinkages of financial markets, and financial risk management. He is a B. Tech. from IIT Mumbai, PGDM from IIM Kolkata and PhD from Columbia University.
